Job description:

Intro Only is looking for a highly motivated and outgoing executive assistant with strong social, communication, and planning, and organizing skills. This person will be expected to perform a variety of tasks, help keep long-term projects on track, and handle more urgent requirements. An ideal candidate is responsive, thoughtful, self-directed, positive, and seeking a challenging role.This is an exciting opportunity for a person who is looking for marketing and event planning experience along with a strong professional community directory. 

 

This full-time position is targeted to anyone with a European or international background. 

Compensation: $45,000/year

Key responsibilities: 

The event planning intern will be helping Intro Only plan and organize events, as well as find new partnerships and sponsorships for each event. You are also responsible for organizing all events to make sure they are a success. 

 

  • Coordinating and managing all logistics for events by collaborating with members and teams across Intro Only

  • Develop, manage, and communicate event details in alignment with customer needs, including scheduling, staffing, equipment, decoration setup, and location details

  • Manage event budgets and other administrative assignments

  • Research possible partnerships and sponsorships

  • Identify and analyze member needs and recommend appropriate solutions

  • Build and maintain relationships with members and businesses to support the community goals and member experience

  • Increase revenue by helping to create valuable offerings to the members

 

Required qualifications:

 

  • Hold a Green Card or Work VISA

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills for communication with internal and external customers

  • Detail and operations-oriented 

  • Highly organized and motivated 

  • Strong collaboration, and problem-solving skills, and an ability to work with deadlines and multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Flexible with last-minute changes and requests, and ability to work independently

  • Flexible with work tasks and work hours

  • Customer-focused and customer service oriented

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel

  • Proficient in Google Drive including Google docs, Google Sheets

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communication, hospitality, or related field

 

Recommended Qualifications:

 

  • 1+ years of experience in a professional office environment

  • 1+ years of customer service experience

  • Event operations experience 

  • European descent 

  • Proficient in Adobe Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator Lightroom
